My Neighborhood Mobile Grocery is a pop-up mobile grocery store that brings quality, affordable food directly to you, allowing you to stretch your food dollars. MNMG offers fresh fruits and vegetables, meat and fish, milk, cheese, eggs, bread, canned and dry goods, Meal Bag recipe kits, spices, and more.

Shopping at MNMG is quick, convenient, and easy! To place your order, simply use the shopping list to select what you’d like to purchase and the quantity and then check out with one of our cashiers. After that you can relax and talk with your neighbors while our team members select and bag your items for quality assurance and your convenience. It’s like having your own personal shopper! Ordering and receiving your groceries takes only a few minutes – you save time getting to and from the grocery store, walking and shopping throughout the store, and waiting in line to check out.

You can save even more time by shopping on our website before going to the mobile grocery. Click on “Groceries.” Select what you’d like to purchase and the quantity to add to your basket. Once you’ve made your selections, you can either print the list of items in your basket to bring to your local MNMG or save to your account for our team members to look up once you get to the mobile grocery. After you arrive at the weekly mobile grocery, the process is the same as above: The MNMG team will select and bag your items for you while you relax and visit with neighbors

MNMG prices are very competitive. With our prices and the My Mobile Money loyalty program (see below for more details), you can stretch your food budget an additional 40 percent. For every $20 you spend with MNMG, you receive $28 worth of groceries compared to shopping at another store.

My Mobile Money is MNMG’s loyalty program. For every dollar you spend on eggs, milk, juice, or any fresh fruit or vegetable at Mobile Grocery, you’ll earn that same amount in My Mobile Money to use toward your next purchase of eggs, milk, juice, or fresh fruits and vegetables. We use your phone number to keep track of your MyMM credit for you. You can use your credit during your next visit or save it for a later visit to MNMG. MyMM can only be redeemed at MNMG.

No, we are closed for the major national holidays.

Double Up Food Bucks is a statewide incentive program that doubles the value of Bridge Card benefits at participating markets and grocery stores, including MNMG. When you purchase fresh fruits and vegetables with your Bridge Card, you will get the same amount in DUFB to spend on any fresh fruits and vegetables up to $20 per transaction. We use your phone number to keep track of your DUFB credit, which will be automatically applied to eligible items during your next visit to MNMG. Under DUFB rules you can only redeem the DUFB credit at the grocery store where you purchased the produce and accrued the credit. You cannot redeem DUFB coins from a farmers market or at a grocery store.

Yes, MNMG operates as a separate program within Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan, which distributes millions of pounds a year to nearly 500 partner agencies. At MNMG, we are able to tap into Gleaners’ network of suppliers and distributors to purchase high-quality products at low prices, and we pass those savings on to you!

No, MNMG only sells food purchased directly from distributors and farmers.

MNMG services seniors who live at our pop-up site locations across Metro Detroit (visit our locations page to review the list of locations). To ensure that we have enough supply for each site, we are not able to serve non-residents at this time. If you’d like your apartment building to become an MNMG location, please encourage your property manager to contact us.
